Nuture a responsible mindset in your students!

Ron

If our young people can master the content of their school subjects and pass their exams with good scores, that’s success. But school-goers will never take a test on some of the most important things that a good education offers. Responsibility is one of those skills and qualities that education must foster for learners to achieve their potential.

Responsibility is the first of the seven principles that I address in my book ‘The Seven Principles of RESPECTisms’.  Educating young people about respect in general and responsibility in particular is not something that we can teach, as we would an academic subject. It is something that has to be developed in the process of engagement.

Lost And Found - The 1st Principle of RESPECTisms can help!

Ron's story, entitled 'Lost And Found' is a heart-warming story of a young boys journey to learn about responsibility.  In this story the principle character learns the importance of being responsible for not only his actions but also for other things around him.

Through his new found responsibility of looking after a pet, the young boy learns the hard way of the consequences of not taking his roles and responsibilities seriously.
